On this World Refugee Day, JRS Europe Director, Alberto Ares invites you to keep walking with hope.

Despite saddening news, including the election of Political Parties that oppose a welcoming Europe, a Migration and Asylum pact that will only increase human suffering and ongoing conflicts in the world, Alberto still finds hope.

He finds hope in the JRS teams across Europe that have accompanied more than 235.000 refugees and forcibly displaced people in 2023.

He finds hope in young students engaged in combatting prejudice and climate change.

He finds hope in the positive experiences of integration of refugees and forcibly displaced people all across the continent.

He finds hope in our partners who support and believe in our work.

So despite saddening news, let’s keep walking with hope.
