Vacancy: Regional Project Coordinator for the Ukrainian Desk

Jesuit Refugee Service Europe is seeking a Regional Project Coordinator for the Ukrainian Desk to support the coordination and development of projects responding to the Ukrainian refugee crisis across the JRS network in Europe.
Based within the JRS Europe regional office structure, the coordinator will assist the Regional Programme Coordinator and work closely with JRS country offices located along the Ukrainian borders and with the office in Ukraine. The role focuses on strengthening project implementation, supporting programme development, and ensuring effective coordination across the regional response.
The position involves supporting the full project cycle including proposal development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and project closure. The coordinator will help country offices plan and manage their projects, establish monitoring and evaluation systems with clear indicators, and contribute to narrative and financial reporting. The role also includes identifying fundraising opportunities and engaging with institutional and private donors.
Working in collaboration with the Brussels based team and the wider JRS network, the coordinator will contribute to ensuring that projects effectively respond to the needs of refugees and displaced people affected by the war in Ukraine. The role requires strong analytical and coordination skills, experience with project management and grant reporting, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Candidates should have experience in humanitarian or development contexts, knowledge of NGO project management and reporting, and a strong commitment to the mission of JRS to accompany, serve and advocate for refugees. Fluency in English is required and knowledge of Ukrainian is considered an asset.
The position is full time with an indeterminate contract. The salary range is between €2800 and €3300 gross per month, depending on experience and skills.
