SMART UA at the 3rd Mutual Learning Event in Vilnius

12 April 2026

From 23 to 25 March, JRS Europe took part in the 3rd Mutual Learning Event organised in Vilnius within the framework of the ESF Social Innovation+ Initiative.

The event, convened by the European Social Fund Agency, brought together projects and stakeholders to exchange experiences, reflect on ongoing work and explore common challenges related to social innovation and inclusion.

For the SMART UA project, the event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with other initiatives, share perspectives and further situate its work on housing and employment pathways for Ukrainian refugees within a broader European context.

Discussions throughout the event highlighted the importance of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and evidence-based approaches in addressing complex social challenges, reinforcing the relevance of transnational cooperation.

Participants also took part in a study visit to the UKREATE HUB in Vilnius. The visit offered concrete insights into local initiatives supporting displaced people, showcasing innovative practices in integration and community engagement.

Participating in the Mutual Learning Event contributed to strengthening the project’s approach, offering new perspectives and inspiration to further develop its activities across countries.
