If you had to say something that defines yourself, what would it be?
One of the characteristics that defines me is my energy and enthusiasm ; an energy that I like to channel into different parts of my life.
What values matter more in your life?
The values that I find important are respect, openness, and dignity.
How do you want to contribute to your community?
I want to contribute to my community by investing my energy and time into people, societal issues and spaces which are meaningful to me.
What is the change that you want/wish to see in Europe?
I wish to see more structural inclusion of refugees and other forcibly displaced migrants in Europe; an inclusion process that begins once newcomers arrive in Europe.
Why do you think the work of JRS is relevant today?
I think the work of JRS is relevant today because of the continuing challenges and obstacles that forcibly displaced migrants face.
How does your work/activity contribute to JRS mission?
The CHANGE project underlines the importance to learn about the experiences and insights of refugees in order to create relationships and more inclusive societies, which falls under JRS’ reconciliation priority.
What does JRS mean to you?
JRS represents for me an organization which carries out diverse, relevant services and projects in a holistic and participatory approach. No changes needed!! This one is perfect as is.
