The final countdown: European political groups’ positions on migration and asylum

Brussels, 22 May 2019 – Just before the final countdown for the European elections 2019, JRS Europe encourages the electoral body to have a closer look at the manifestos of the different European political groups.

This document gives an overview of their positions on the various areas of asylum and migration including border control, return and cooperation with third countries. The manifestos inform about the priorities of the political parties and their course of action, among others, on migration in the years to come.
